Salvador Saavedra, CPA
Salvador Saavedra graduated from California State University, Bakersfield in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in accounting. Salvador was granted his CPA license in 2013.
He began his employment with Daniells Phillips Vaughan & Bock in 2007 as an intern and became a partner in July 2021.
Salvador’s experience includes assisting businesses and their owners with income tax planning and compliance in a variety of industries including healthcare, wholesale, agriculture, real estate, oil service, and professional service industries.
Salvador is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has previously held several positions at the state and local levels for the California Society of Certified Public Accountants including President of the Bakersfield Chapter and Chair of the Bakersfield Chapter Taxation Committee. Currently, Salvador serves as past chairman of the board for the Kern County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
Outside of his professional responsibilities, Salvador pursues an active lifestyle through strength training, running, and cycling. He has participated in a variety of local endurance events, including the Bakersfield Half Marathon, Mr. Toad’s Wild Run, the Volkslauf, the Marine Corps 10K Mud Run, and Mud Factor.
