Tax Client Situation Review - Recognize a company's longer-term tax position and financial success and identify how these areas can be impacted by tax services rendered now and in the future.

A company's tax position is multidimensional - it is affected by corporate structure, ownership structure, the types and relative magnitude of assets and liabilities, cash flow, distribution channels, competitive environment, risk profiile, etc. Our clients may focus on the current year's tax as a short-term measure of the tax services we render, but we focus on the overall tax position and longer-term financial goals of the company.

A Client Situation Review is designed to dig deeper with the client, strengthen relationships and, if needed, provide services.

A Tax CSR has the following objectives:

  • To understand the key strategic and tactical tax issues that challenge the industry and the company and their impact on the company's tax strategies.
  • To assist the client in gaining a better understanding as to their position with regards to their historical tax situation and its effect on the achievement of their strategic goals and objectives
  • To assist in identifying critical tax issues and tax savings opportunities that will enable the company to successfully execute its strategic plan through the development of monitoring systems as well as a high-level action plan to address them.
